Relationships

Many people come to therapy because of relationship difficulties. It can be extremely stressful to be in an unhappy relationship and to live with conflict. Psychotherapy can help in exploring and bringing to the surface any underlying patterns within the relationship that lead to unnecessary pain and suffering. This allows you to work towards changing those patterns and create healthier relationships.

Sometimes early relationships in life leave people so wounded that they cannot enter into a relationship or sustain one when they do. Psychotherapy can help in providing a safe and supportive environment to explore and work through these early wounds leaving you freer in the future to create relationships that are less weighed down and coloured by the past.

Over time, psychotherapy can strengthen your relationship with yourself and bring you to a place of self-awareness and self-love. Improving our relationship with ourselves can improve our relationships with others.
